Ukulele Kids lunchtime club starts Tuesday — still time to register (Grades 1–6)
- When
- 27 October 2026
- Where
- Online
Ukulele Kids is a not-for-profit that runs paid music classes inside schools. It is not a school or council programme, and registration and payment go to them directly. Grades 1 to 6 saw a presentation on 8 October, and the principal passed on the flyer on 12, 17 and 21 October.
- Start: the principal's 21 October email says sessions begin Tuesday 27 October. The flyer, sent unchanged each time, still says Thursdays 22 October to 10 December, so the weekly day is not confirmed — check with Ukulele Kids when you register.
- When: lunchtime, eight lessons. The flyer says 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.; the principal's 25 October update gives 12:05 p.m. for the first session.
- Cost: $134 for beginners, songbook included. Returning students who already have a ukulele and songbook pay $124.
- Ukulele: every child must have one. If you need one, buy it when you register: $62 with a case, picks and a holder, delivered to the school on the first day.
- Late registration: after Monday 19 October there is a $15 late fee and your colour choice is not guaranteed.
You can pay by e-transfer, cash, cheque or credit card. For help registering, the contact details are on the Ukulele Kids website.
