About this site
Every September the same thing happens. The dates go out in an email, the permission form goes out in another, the pizza order closes on a Sunday you did not know about, and by November you are scrolling back through three months of messages looking for something you know you read once.
This site exists to fix that one problem. It is a place to put the links and dates that matter, so nobody has to go hunting.
What this is not
This is an unofficial site, made by parents, for parents. It is not run by Blessed Trinity Catholic School, and it is not run by the Toronto Catholic District School Board.
Nothing here replaces what the school sends you. If a date on this site disagrees with something from the office or from your child's teacher, the school is right and this site is wrong — please tell us so we can fix it.
Wherever possible we link to the official source instead of copying it, precisely so you are reading the real thing.

About the parent council
The Catholic School Parent Council — CSPC — is the group of parents and guardians who work with the principal to support school life. In Ontario, school councils are advisory bodies with a defined role: they bring the parent perspective into decisions about the school, and they organize much of what makes the year feel like a year.
At Blessed Trinity that means pizza lunch, the BBQ the council puts on at the school's Curriculum Night, and the year-end BBQ — plus running fundraisers so there is money to support school activities that would otherwise have to go without.
Meetings are open to every parent and guardian. You do not need to be an elected member, you do not need to speak, and you do not need to come to all of them. Coming once is genuinely useful: it is the fastest way to find out what is actually going on.
